AntsData is operated by FOXDATA (HONG KONG) TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. In this Policy, “AntsData”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to AntsData and FOXDATA (HONG KONG) TECHNOLOGY LIMITED.

Your use of AntsData is also subject to our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies when you use or interact with AntsData, including when you visit our website, create an account, use our APIs or dashboard, purchase or use account balance, request a demo or quote, submit a data request, purchase a dataset, receive data delivery services, contact support, subscribe to marketing communications, or otherwise communicate with us.

This Policy also applies to information collected through website technologies, product analytics, customer support tools, scheduling tools, marketing campaigns, referral links, advertising campaigns, UTM links, and similar interactions.

This Policy does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, data sources, or services that we do not control. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide to us, information generated through your use of AntsData, and information from third parties that help us operate, secure, support, and improve our services.

When you contact us, create an account, request a demo, request a quote, submit a support request, or communicate with our team, we may collect information such as your name, company name, work email address, job role, phone number or messaging contact, account information, and the content of your communications.

When you submit data requirements or use AntsData services, we may process the information needed to understand and fulfill your request. This may include source information, URLs, keywords, countries, languages, fields, filters, sample files, schemas, formats, delivery preferences, schedules, and other instructions you provide.

When you use our website, APIs, dashboard, datasets, or other services, we may collect usage and technical information such as account activity, API usage, request metadata, timestamps, status codes, usage volume, dashboard activity, device and browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, error logs, security logs, and fraud-prevention signals.

When you purchase or use account balance, APIs, datasets, or other services, we may process account, billing, balance, usage, payment, order, invoice, refund, chargeback, and related business records. We use this information to operate accounts, process payments, calculate charges, manage orders, provide support, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, login credentials, private account data, confidential third-party data, or any information that you are not authorized to provide.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to provide, operate, maintain, secure, support, bill, and improve AntsData products and services.

This includes using information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, process API requests, deliver datasets, manage data delivery projects, calculate usage, maintain account balance, process payments, issue invoices, respond to inquiries, provide support, send service communications, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, detect fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, comply with legal obligations, and protect our services and users.

We may also use information to understand product usage, improve user experience, develop features, measure campaign performance, conduct marketing and customer communications where permitted by law, and support business operations.

We may use aggregated, de-identified, or derived information to improve our services, develop features, perform quality assurance, enhance automation, and improve model-related capabilities. We do not use customer confidential information or personal information contained in customer-provided content to train third-party foundation models unless separately agreed with you.

We may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, SDKs, analytics tools, advertising identifiers, and similar technologies to operate and secure our website and services, remember user preferences, analyze website traffic and product usage, measure campaign performance, understand referral sources and UTM parameters, support advertising or retargeting where permitted by law, improve performance and user experience, and support customer support chat, scheduling, email delivery, marketing communications, and similar website or service features.

You may be able to control cookies through your browser or device settings. If required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice or request consent for certain cookies or similar technologies.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate, secure, support, and improve AntsData. These may include providers of hosting and infrastructure, payment processing, billing and invoicing, customer support, scheduling, email delivery, CRM, analytics, advertising measurement, security, fraud prevention, logging, monitoring, and other business operations.

We may also disclose information where necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or government requests; enforce our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, agreements, or rights; detect, prevent, or investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity; protect the rights, safety, and property of AntsData, our users, customers, partners, or others; or support a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We may share information when you direct us to do so, when it is necessary to provide a service you request, or when you otherwise consent.

6. Data Requests and Customer-Provided Content

For some services, you may provide data requirements, source information, URLs, keywords, field requirements, sample files, instructions, or other materials. We refer to this information as customer-provided content.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, authorizations, and lawful basis to provide this content to AntsData and to instruct us to process it.

Unless otherwise agreed, we process customer-provided content to provide, support, secure, maintain, improve, and bill for the requested services; manage usage, account balance, and orders; comply with applicable obligations; and enforce our agreements.

7. Data Retention and Temporary Storage

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide services, maintain accounts, process payments, manage balance and orders, provide support, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, maintain business records, and protect our services.

AntsData is not a cloud storage, backup, or long-term data hosting service. Unless otherwise agreed, we do not intend to retain customer-delivered datasets, service outputs, API responses, or related files longer than reasonably necessary for delivery, support, quality review, billing, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or business record purposes.

Unless otherwise stated or required for billing, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or business records, temporary service files are generally retained only for limited periods. API responses or result caches may be retained for up to 14 days. Customer-uploaded files, manually processed files, or Excel files may be retained for up to 7 days. Delivered dataset files are generally retained for the applicable review period, which is 7 days from delivery unless otherwise agreed.

These retention periods are not a guarantee that any file, output, API response, cache, or dataset will remain available for the full period. You are responsible for downloading, storing, and backing up any outputs you need to keep.

Account balance records, including paid balance, free trial balance, bonus balance, promotional balance, top-up history, usage deductions, reservations, adjustments, refunds, and related order records, may be retained for billing, account management, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and business record purposes. Paid balance does not expire monthly and remains available while your account is active, unless otherwise stated or required by law. Free trial, bonus, and promotional balance may be subject to separate validity periods, usage conditions, account-level limits, or offer terms shown in the dashboard, checkout, campaign page, or applicable terms.

We may retain billing, invoice, tax, compliance, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal records for longer periods where required or permitted by law.

8. International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in countries or regions other than where you are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

9. Information Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, API keys, and any systems used to access AntsData.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, object to, or request portability of certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or opt out of certain marketing communications.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, where applicable, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, request data portability, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If you are a California resident or located in another U.S. state with applicable privacy laws, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.

You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, we may still send transactional or service-related messages.

12. Data Processing Addendum

For enterprise customers or where AntsData processes personal information on behalf of a customer as a processor or service provider, the parties may enter into a Data Processing Addendum or similar data protection agreement.

If a Data Processing Addendum applies and conflicts with this Policy regarding the processing of customer-provided content, the Data Processing Addendum will control to the extent of the conflict.

13. Children’s Privacy

AntsData is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting the updated Policy on our website, updating the “Last updated” date, or using other reasonable methods.

Your continued use of AntsData after an updated Policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated Policy.
