Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may and may not do when using AntsData, including our APIs, datasets, account balance, dashboard, data delivery services, and related products and services.

AntsData is operated by FOXDATA (HONG KONG) TECHNOLOGY LIMITED. In this Policy, “AntsData”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to AntsData and FOXDATA (HONG KONG) TECHNOLOGY LIMITED.

This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service. If you violate this Policy, we may limit, suspend, or terminate your access to AntsData, API keys, account balance, dataset orders, deliveries, or other services.

1. General Rule

You may use AntsData only for lawful, authorized, ethical, and responsible purposes.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of AntsData, your instructions, your data sources, and your use of outputs comply with applicable laws and regulations, privacy and data protection laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam, anti-fraud, cybersecurity, sanctions, export control, and consumer protection laws, third-party website terms, platform policies, contractual restrictions, access rules, our Terms of Service, and this Policy.

You may not use AntsData to harm others, violate rights, bypass unauthorized restrictions, or engage in unlawful, abusive, deceptive, discriminatory, or harmful activity.

2. Data Sources and Authorization

You may use AntsData only with data sources, data types, and instructions that you are authorized to access, use, process, and provide.

You may not use AntsData to access, collect, extract, monitor, or process non-public, private, restricted, confidential, or unauthorized data.

You may not use AntsData to access or attempt to access data behind login walls, paywalls, private accounts, authentication systems, or access controls without proper authorization.

You may not bypass technical, contractual, or legal restrictions without authorization.

You may not collect or process data in a way that violates privacy rights, intellectual property rights, publicity rights, trade secrets, contractual rights, platform terms, or other third-party rights.

You are responsible for determining whether your intended data source and use case are permitted.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use AntsData to engage in illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, discriminatory, security-compromising, or rights-violating activities.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

  • fraud, deception, identity theft, phishing, scams, or impersonation;
  • spam, unlawful marketing, fake engagement, fake reviews, platform manipulation, or astroturfing;
  • malware distribution, spyware, ransomware, malicious code, or harmful software;
  • credential theft, unauthorized access, hacking, security attacks, or system compromise;
  • harassment, intimidation, doxxing, unlawful surveillance, stalking, exploitation, or abuse;
  • unlawful profiling, discriminatory targeting, or harmful decision-making;
  • activities that violate applicable law, third-party rights, platform terms, or contractual restrictions.

4. Sensitive, Regulated, or Protected Data

You may not use AntsData to collect, infer, process, enrich, or distribute sensitive, regulated, or protected data unless you have a valid lawful basis, all required authorizations, and AntsData has expressly agreed where required.

This may include:

  • health, medical, biometric, genetic, or disability information;
  • precise location data;
  • financial account data, payment card data, credit information, or government identification numbers;
  • children’s data;
  • race, ethnicity, religion, political opinions, union membership, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics;
  • criminal-record data or allegations;
  • private communications, private social media content, private account data, or other non-public personal information.

You are responsible for ensuring that any collection, processing, enrichment, use, storage, sharing, or transfer of such data complies with applicable laws and permissions.

5. Credentials, Tokens, and Account Access

You may not submit, request, use, or process credentials, cookies, authentication tokens, session data, API keys, private keys, access tokens, or other access mechanisms unless you are authorized to do so and AntsData has expressly agreed.

You may not use stolen, leaked, purchased, scraped, shared, or unauthorized credentials, cookies, tokens, sessions, API keys, or authentication data.

You may not use AntsData to take over accounts, automate unauthorized login activity, bypass authentication, impersonate users, or access private accounts or restricted systems without authorization.

You are responsible for keeping your AntsData account credentials and API keys secure. You may not share API keys publicly or with unauthorized users.

6. Technical Abuse and Security Misuse

You may not use AntsData to probe, scan, test, attack, overload, disrupt, or compromise systems, networks, websites, APIs, or services.

You may not bypass rate limits, access controls, CAPTCHA systems, bot protections, security systems, or technical restrictions without authorization.

You may not use AntsData in a way that creates excessive load, abuse complaints, security risk, operational risk, legal risk, or reputational risk.

You may not interfere with AntsData systems or third-party systems, reverse engineer AntsData technology, or benchmark AntsData for competitive abuse except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

7. AI, Automation, and Decision-Making Use

If you use AntsData in connection with AI systems, machine learning models, analytics, automation, data enrichment, automated workflows, or automated decision-making, you are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable AI, privacy, data protection, intellectual property, consumer protection, anti-discrimination, and other laws.

You may not use AntsData for prohibited AI practices or unlawful, harmful, deceptive, discriminatory, abusive, or rights-violating AI-related activities.

You may not use AntsData outputs to develop, train, operate, or deploy AI systems in ways that violate applicable law, third-party rights, platform restrictions, our Terms of Service, or this Policy.

8. Customer Data and Instructions

You are responsible for all Customer Data, source information, URLs, keywords, fields, instructions, files, filters, and requirements you provide to AntsData.

You represent that you have the right to provide the Customer Data and instructions, that your use case is lawful and authorized, that your instructions do not require AntsData to violate applicable law, third-party rights, platform terms, or this Policy, and that your use of outputs will comply with applicable law and third-party rights.

AntsData may reject, modify, suspend, or terminate requests that we believe create legal, security, privacy, operational, reputational, or compliance risk.

9. Resale, Redistribution, and API Key Sharing

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, expose, or provide AntsData services, APIs, account balance, API keys, credentials, outputs, or datasets to third parties except as expressly permitted by AntsData in writing.

You may not allow multiple unrelated parties to use one account without authorization, build a competing service using AntsData without written permission, resell AntsData outputs in a way that violates our Terms, third-party rights, or applicable law, or use AntsData to create or enhance datasets, products, or services that violate platform terms, privacy rights, or intellectual property rights.

10. Payment, Balance, and Order Abuse

You may not abuse free trials, account balance, top-ups, bonus balance, promotional balance, campaign credits, refunds, chargebacks, payment methods, dataset orders, or other commercial features.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated free trials, bonuses, promotional balance, or campaign offers;
  • using account balance, bonus balance, promotional balance, or campaign credits in a fraudulent, abusive, unauthorized, or unintended way;
  • initiating chargebacks or payment disputes fraudulently or abusively;
  • using stolen, unauthorized, or fraudulent payment methods;
  • attempting to manipulate refund eligibility, balance records, usage records, bonus records, order records, or payment status;
  • using trial, bonus, promotional, or campaign-related balance in ways not permitted by the applicable offer, order terms, Terms of Service, or this Policy.

11. Monitoring and Enforcement

We may review account activity, API usage, dataset orders, payment activity, and related service activity to detect abuse, security risks, fraud, violations of this Policy, violations of our Terms of Service, or other harmful or unlawful activity.

If we believe that your use of AntsData creates risk or violates this Policy, our Terms of Service, applicable law, or the rights of others, we may take action, including:

  • limiting, suspending, or terminating access to AntsData;
  • disabling, rotating, or revoking API keys;
  • pausing or cancelling dataset orders or deliveries;
  • restricting use of account balance;
  • withholding, cancelling, or reclaiming bonus balance, promotional balance, campaign credits, or related incentives;
  • removing or disabling access to content, outputs, or delivered files;
  • refusing future service;
  • reporting unlawful activity to authorities where appropriate;
  • taking other measures we consider appropriate.

Violation of this Policy may make payments, top-ups, account balance, dataset orders, or other services ineligible for refund, subject to our Terms of Service and applicable law.

Please include relevant details such as account information, API activity, source URLs, timestamps, examples, and a description of the concern.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting the updated Policy, updating the “Last updated” date, or using other reasonable methods.

Your continued use of AntsData after an updated Policy becomes effective means that you accept the updated Policy.
